Erotic DVDs for Women

Over the years we have found that videos and DVDs can prove to be helpful tools in the bedroom in a variety of ways. They can present new ideas, teach people "how to" in a non-threatening way, and just offer a new avenue for excitement.

Sexually explicit entertainment can typically be grouped into two categories: educational and erotic.

Educational: These are reference materials that are meant to "teach." While sexually explicit in nature, they are designed to inform, model and guide. Often people think of these as "tame" or more "acceptable." They will often have sex therapists or educators introducing a subject and speaking about it in depth before, during, or after the activity is modeled.

Erotica: This is a genre of film meant to titillate and excite. People like to watch erotica for any number of reasons. Sometimes couples are able to crank up their desire by watching it. Some couples find it gives them new ideas and information that they might not have had about lovemaking, role-playing, positions, locations....  And some people watch erotica on their own for the release and pleasure of sexual fantasy. Erotica comes in a very wide variety of... shall we say?... intensity. It can range from something akin to an R rated movie to "hard core pornography." Generally, we find women tend to gravitate toward the slightly less "strong" DVDs -- so that's primarily what we've included. If you like more close-up and hard-core porn, you may not find what you want here, but there are many other sites with huge selections.

And please keep an open mind: only 17% of erotica contains violence of any kind while 72% of R-rated movies do!
